Spotlight: Germany

2009 marks the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the reunification of Germany. This is an opportune time for us to provide a country close-up on the past and present of the German society. The four films chosen are curated by Dr. Grit Lemke, programmer of DOK Leipzig, Germany’s premier documentary film festival.
